Keith Garde is a friend
and
my
Personal Manager
in
1996. He previously
managed
Aerosmith.
I went to Nashville
and New York to
write with
great songwriters,
like
Diane
Scanlon, Gary Nicholson
(Wynonna Judd and Patty
Loveless), Jimmy Scott
(Bonnie Raitt), and Jamie Kyle (Faith Hill).
Grammy Award Winning
Producer,
Jeff Bova, worked
with
Celine
Dion and
Michael
Jackson.
He offered
to
pro-
duce
my next album.
I
was
invited
to
New York as lead
f
or, "Antigone
Rising".
With
me
on
lead
vocals,
the
five
women band
appeared
in
New
York on NBC's "Today" show.
I
returned
to
Boston in 2001
to
resume
my
solo career.
My
husband
Dan
and I moved
to
the
country
side
to
start
our
family.
Our
focus
became
our
two
young
boys.
During this time, I signed
with a
publishing company in
Boston, "Heavy Hitters
Music".
With Barbara Jordan
and
Cindy
Badell-Slaughter, our
music
became a
very popular
sound
for
TV. My songs have
been consistently played on
"All
My
Children", "One Life
To Live", "
The Young and the
Restless", and "Days of Our Lives".
Agona's Biography
I'm a Singer

and Recording
Artist.
Central
Massachusetts is
my
home. My
music is created
from
a
unique
blend of soulful
pop

sounds. Music

Steve
Morse of The

"Remember her
affecting
vocals
that you will
not soon
forget".
I'm a product of my
artistic
family
genetics. My
father Billy
has always
been a painter and
sculptor, with a
loyal following
My Mother Leonda, was a well
known
Recording Artist with
"Epic
Records" most popular in
the 60s.
I began singing at two
and
never
dreamed
of
stopping.
I spent many years
singing
in
local
musicals, vocal
groups
and
jazz
bands.
I was excited to
enter
the
Miss
Teen
Pageant
of
Massachusetts,
the votes were
tallied. They
shouted out my
name as the
1st
Place winner.
Without Dan, my loving
husband,
I could have never
done
this.
He films my
shows,
carries the
gear, converts,
transfers,
and
uploads
whatever
I need. As
a partner at
Ocean
One
Productions
he has
great
responsibility.
Dan is such a
wonderful
Dad
and
still
finds time
to
love me.
I
went to the
University
of
Massachusetts
and graduated with a Bachelor's
degree.
Since
then I've
pursued
a musical dream. I've written,
performed
and
recorded with
some
of
music's most well
known and talented
artists.
In 1995, David Porter was
my
producer
and lead guitarist,
I
recorded my debut
album."Going Home". It released to
a
soldout
crowd at The House
of
Blues in
Cambridge. The
Agona
Hardison
Band was a
popular
Boston band. I played
folk
festivals, coffee
houses,
rock
clubs, blues
bars, and
theaters.
I was invited to perform at
"Lilith Fair",
with
stars like
Sarah
McLachlan, Natalie
Merchant,
and The Indigo
Girls.
We were
appearing in
many
national
publications, including
People
and
Billboard magazine.
"Agona Hardison's
vocals
and music
has
a
great
way of
leaving
you
with a
warm and
pleasant
feeling in your
soul.
She
writes
good
songs, sings
beautifully
and
has
good
stage
presence,
she really
deserves
to
get noticed."
